Nañez to auction 'Three Green Chiles' painting at Jardin de los Niños Champions for Children Gala

Las Cruces, NM - On February 29, 2020, Jardin de los Niños will hold its Champions for Children Gala to celebrate 25 years of service. The nonprofit organization serves homeless and near-homeless children and their families to provide them with the essential tools needed to flourish.

Those attending the gala will have the opportunity to bid on an original artwork donated by Albuquerque artist, Bryce Nañez. Nañez was born and raised in Las Cruces, NM and has made it his mission to effect positive change in the world through art and charitable giving.

Funds raised from the 2020 Gala will support Jardin in building an outdoor experiential learning classroom. If you would like to help the organization continue its mission to provide families with the tools needed to succeed, you can click here to purchase a ticket or sponsor a table.

IncredAble Adaptive MMA is an organization founded by Heather Winkeljohn, serving youths and teens who experience a variety of challenges. This organization provides a safe, accepting, and comfortable environment for students looking to find their potential and build confidence through MMA. Aththletes with physical, cognitive, and environmental difficulties can explore their hidden talents and showcase their abilities.

Currently, IncredAble Adaptive MMA is raffling off an original acrylic on canvas portrait of Holly Holm. The painting was donated by Albuquerque artist, Bryce Nañez to help benefit the organization and the community members they serve. Bryce Nañez has teamed up with IncredAble Adaptive MMA in Albuquerque, NM to raffle off a 48"x60" portrait of Holly Holm in support of their cause. The painting is currently in the works and a date has not yet been determined. 

Who, What, and Where: 

IncredAble Adaptive MMA is a nonprofit organization founded by Heather Winkeljohn that provides youths and teens who experience a variety of environmental, physical, & cognitive challenges; the skills & benefits of mixed martial arts.

This organization operates out of the world renowned Jackson Wink MMA Academy in Albuquerque, NM.  Together, coaches Greg Jackson and Mike Winkeljohn started what is arguably the #1 MMA camp in the world, and home to some of the greatest athletes the sport has ever seen. 

It is here, at Jackson Wink MMA Academy, that IncredAble Adaptive MMA is able to help those who are often over looked, to build confidence and find their potential through MMA.
